Cecile is a senior lecturer in linguistics at the University of Leeds. She has an MA in linguistics from the University of Durham and a PhD in linguistics from the University of York. Her research explores the interplay between language development and cognition in young children. Cecile has lived in the UK for 18 years and is a native speaker of French (from Belgium).

Ludovica is a senior lecturer in clinical linguistics at the University of Manchester. She has an MA in language acquisition from the University of Essex and a PhD in linguistics from the University of Edinburgh. Her research interests include the acquisition of structural and discourse-pragmatic aspects of language in monolingual and bilingual children. Ludovica has lived in the UK for 20 years and is a native speaker of Italian.

Sanne holds a masters degree in applied linguistics and a research masters degree in linguistics from the University of Groningen. She has worked on several projects investigating children’s linguistic and cognitive development, focusing in particular on asymmetries between language production and language comprehension in unimpaired children and in children with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or ADHD, and cross-linguistic grammatical development. Sanne is a native speaker of Dutch.

Furzana graduated in Psychology at the University of Leeds. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of roles to support children and families (as a mental health therapy assistant, assistant psychologist, outreach and support worker) and has a special interest in language development and bilingualism. Furzana has always lived in the UK and is a native speaker of English and Punjabi.
